UTSW RedBird
Project Details
UT Southwestern Medical Center now has a state-of-the-art outpatient facility as part of redeveloping a historic Dallas landmark, RedBird. Delivered in multiple phases, Titan Electric was proud to be the electrical subcontractor on this exciting project to help UT Southwestern build its newest regional medical center in a space that belonged to Sears at RedBird Mall for 45 years. Phase 1 included demolishing 30,000 square feet of the existing building structure. Phase 2 included new construction for a core and shell building of approximately 150,000 square feet, including a new building envelope, vertical circulation, MEP primary distribution connections, new RTUs with a screen wall, and more. The former Sears Garden and Automotive Centers are now replaced by exam rooms, infusion suites, lab facilities, and state-of-the-art health care services that will provide top-ranked care to residents of southwest Dallas County.
