James Petitt Joins Titan Electric Companies’ C-Suite as Chief Financial Officer to Propel the Company’s Long-term Growth and Strategic Initiatives

 

August 11, 2026: (Tampa, FL): Titan Electric Companies, a leading electrical contractor committed to Powering the Future, with operations in Georgia, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and the Carolinas, today announced the newest member of their C-Suite, James Petit who joins the team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

As the Company’s CFO, he will lead both the Financial and Accounting functions across all six divisions and play a pivotal role in leading the company’s migration to an ERP platform while advancing critical financial systems throughout the organization.

Petitt brings over 30 years of experience firmly rooted in Finance and Accounting to this role having held several financial leadership positions across the chemical manufacturing, asset management, energy, and freight management industries.  Most recently, Petitt was the CFO at Mayroad, where he oversaw FP&A, implemented the organization’s ERP platform, and drove efficiencies in financial reporting and operations for this asset management firm that oversees military properties valued at approximately $150 million.  Before Mayroad, he was the Senior Business Segment Controller for Cabot Corporation, where he oversaw and streamlined capital spending and financials for the company’s manufacturing sites, warehouse, packing and shipping operations, and Clean Energy Center, which combined, generated over $3 billion in annual revenue. Petitt launched his career with Tampa-based CP Ships, LLC, where he spent 12 years in various leadership roles.

Petitt obtained his dual BS degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Florida (Gainesville) and holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Denver’s Regis University.  Petitt is a Florida native and will be based in Titan’s corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL.
