Constructed in the Fall of 2020, this 24,000-square-foot office building is the new home of the Barrow County Department of Family & Child Services. Titan Electric partnered with Choate Construction on this tenant improvement project. The first order of business was to demo the walls to the closest connection point and provide safe, temporary power and lighting for construction use. Titan’s 480-volt electrical scope included installing distribution equipment, switch gear, panel boards, transformers, grounding and pulling service, and branch circuit conductors. The project also involved wiring lighting fixtures, lighting control systems, and receptacles and connecting to plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC equipment. Project highlights included a new 1,600-amp service to the building, LED Site Lighting, new LED lighting throughout, and a Hubbell NX Lighting Control System.
