Georgia Tech Housing – Bud and Val Peterson Residence Hall
Project Details
Our Titan Electric Companies Georgia team had the privilege of leading all electrical construction on the Bud and Val Peterson Residence Hall at Georgia Tech University. This state-of-the-art residence spanned a massive 546,094 square feet, requiring two, 8-story towers, fully equipped with an array of exceptional amenities for students.
The project team oversaw the installation of all line voltage cabling and infrastructure; the installation of all switchgear, switchboards, MDPs and sub-panels; and the installation of all central and specialty lighting, lighting controls, and LCPs. Working closely with the GC and other specialty contractors assigned to the project, the project team was able to meet the completion deadline allowing students to move in before the start of the 2026 Fall semester. The completion of this residence represented the first new dorms built on campus in approximately 50 years—a true milestone for the renowned educational institution. The Georgia team was honored to play such a central role in delivering such a meaningful project for Georgia Tech and its community.
